Hi! My name is Spot. I am Rich and Elaine Davis's dog and I am going to tell you about our summer. Rich taught at Head of the River, Accompsett Middle School, High School East, Smithtown Middle School, Tackan Elementary, and Smithtown Elementary. He has been retired since 1998. 

I have been told that I am a good boy.

Rich tells me that I am named after a famous dog. Elaine likes to read and cuddle with me. Rich likes to take me on adventures. I'm going to tell you about our summer this year.

Rich's daughter Chrissy has chickens. We visit her for five months in the summer, and live in Sun Lakes, AZ, for the other seven. We have "Chicken Time" at 5:00 every night. I like to eat the same things as them, corn, peas, watermelon, kale, to mention a few.

We mostly like going to the beach every morning.

I love the beach, and so does Dad. We walk the beach for at least three miles.

I once met a dog and he looked just like me, but no spots! Imagine that!

I even get treats sometimes. These are my friends, Biscuit and Mini. 

Sometimes Dad and I find some great stuff in the tidal pools.

One time I helped another dog dig a hole to bury his ball. It was so much fun that I couldn't stop laughing.

I love playing with Audrey.

The best part of summer was being together.
